Creative Drama & Creative Movement

Act, sing, dance, drum, paint, and play! From monsters to aliens, wizards to wild things, and other wacky characters, we'll stomp, sing, dance, read our way through books, stories and tales!
Creative Drama provides a strong foundation of the performing arts as we develop creativity and imagination, social skills, academic skills, and our self-awareness and self-expression.
The Wizard of Oz
Youth Theatre Performance Ensemble
Saturdays, 11:45am-1pm, ages 8-12

This spring, we will tackle the classic story of The Wizard of Oz with a combined class of ages 6-12. We will write our own scripts, develop our own adaptation, and then work on costuming, sets, props, masks and such with a final set of performances in the spring. Students must commit to making all classes (with exceptions for illness).
Bring a Book to Life with Jill Campbell
Ages 8-12, Wednesdays 4:30-5:15pm

Led by Master Thespian Jill Campbell, students will select and work on a book that they will adapt and perform.

Acting, Dancing, Singing, and Visual Art! Learning to use our bodies, voices, puppets, masks, and other props to discover the creative outlet of theatre. Together we will select plays and write some of our own to rehearse and perform as we build our social and emotional skills while becoming more comfortable with our bodies and presentation/performance skills.
Acting Fundamentals
ages 16-99+

Voice work, character development, stage movement, and in-depth text analysis are offered in this series as we continue to develop our performance skills. For new and experienced actors. All work is designed developmentally and individualized for the performer. Space is limited.
Ensemble Studio Players
ages 18+
Select Mondays and other dates, Free
Voice work, character development, movement for the actor, and in-depth text analysis are offered in this series for adults who are wishing to join an ensemble-in-training.
Workshops and Master Classes are offered on select dates and participants must pre-register for the workshops.
